New Barn is ideally located on the main Knutsford/Macclesfield A537, being only 10 minutes from both junctions 18 and 19 on the M6.
Owned by Pamela Rigby (BHSII), New Barn has been developed to cater to the requirements of smaller clinics and equestrian courses. New Barn is the Mid-Cheshire Centre for the Riding for the Disabled (RDA).
There is a 60 x 20 covered school with waxed surface. The School boasts separate spectator entrances and horse entrances, comfortable spectator seating area, wheelchair access and wheelchair friendly mounting ramps.
The school is bright and airy, yet protected from the prevailing winds at the same time.
There are 14 visitor stables available at New Barn, six are in a large American style barn and a further 8 are on the yard. All the stables have automatic water drinkers, full rubber matting on the floor, and all the stable doors are alarmed for extra security overnight. The stables are a huge 14'x14'. New Barn offers Holiday Liveries and Rehabilitation liveries in addition to its visitor stabling. New Barn's excellent location also lends itself to overnight stopovers on long horse journeys.
In addition to the stabling, and covered school there is a bright and airy classroom, which seats up to 25 people and which is flexible in its use. New Barn hosts a variety of training, and the classroom has even been converted to an Equestrian Art gallery for a special occasion!
There is a small kitchen area in the classroom where training participants can make teas/coffees etc.
