Huge, airy stables, rubber matting, 24 hour supervision, turnout, CCTV security. Give your horse a holiday while you enjoy your own. New Barn is perfect for horses needing emergency stabling, or recovering from injury.
Runs occasional Dressage competitions, and like everything else we do we aim to help riders to get started or improve in their competitive activities.
Riders of all ages are members of our group, all ride on a regular basis either on a Tuesday, Friday or Saturday morning.
Here at New Barn, Pam Rigby has a talent for getting riders enjoying their schooling and improving their riding while having a ball at the same time!
Ladies' Morning Riding Sessions
Ladies riding sessions are held on Monday, and Thursday mornings. Rides are in small groups with our well behaved horses.
Holiday and Recovery Livery
If lack of time to treat a veterinary problem is your concern, for example, walking for 10 minutes 5 times a day, our convalescent livery may be able to help.
Hire OUR Facilities
There are 14 visitor stables available at New Barn, six are in a large American style barn and a further 8 are on the yard.
Pam Rigby MBE is the owner of New Barn and has dedicated herself to creating a fantastic equestrian clinic and training venue in North Cheshire. New Barn is laughingly called Pam's "Retirement Project". Pam is very well known and well respected from her many years of owning and running Mobberley Riding School and more recently with her work with the RDA and as an author of "So you Want to Own a Horse"?
Pam was awarded the MBE in June 2013 for her lifetime service to people with disabilities. Those of us who know her well feel that nobody deserves this sort of recognition more than Pam.
