About our ponies

Chocolate

It doesn’t take much to work out why our veteran pony is called Chocolate. Her colour makes her look good enough to eat! Chocolate is sweet and gentle natured and takes everything in her stride. She is just as happy on the lead rein as she is with riders working independently. When Chocolate is not having fun with her riders, she likes to catch up on her beauty sleep.  How old is she? ... well you should never ask a lady her age!!

Fleur

Fleur is, how do we say it? Well Fleur is our cheeky pony! Free spirit? Whatever you call her, Fleur loves the children who ride her and give her the occasional mint. She is particularly suited to lead rein but is very capable off the lead rein and has great fun at gymkhana games. Fleur likes nothing better than a nice tickle on her forehead…. Just watch her fall asleep!

Sally

Sally is our ‘pocket sized’ pony. She is a grey (sometimes muddy brown) shetland cross and has fast become a favourite of our smaller visitors. Sally is primarily a lead rein pony and is very happy to ‘potter’ around whilst carrying her precious cargo and watching the world go by. Sally loves to go to local shows and recently won a prize in ‘pony that the judge would most like to take home’. Who wouldn’t?

Salsa

Salsa is a beautiful chestnut colour with a white blaze down her nose and four lovely white socks. She is very loving, patient and willing to please. She works well with riders working independently and also with riders that require side walkers or a lead rein. Salsa loves to spend time out in the field playing with her friends, Sally, Chocolate and Fleur. She regularly competes at shows and is the proud winner of quite a few rosettes. Clever girl!!
