Pam Rigby MBE is the owner of New Barn and has dedicated herself to creating a fantastic equestrian clinic and training venue in North Cheshire. New Barn is laughingly called Pam's "Retirement Project". Pam is very well known and well respected from her many years of owning and running Mobberley Riding School and more recently with her work with the RDA and as an author of "So you Want to Own a Horse"?
Pam was awarded the MBE in June 2013 for her lifetime service to people with disabilities. Those of us who know her well feel that nobody deserves this sort of recognition more than Pam.
Lisa Pritchard is the owner of the Modern Horse. She keeps Rocky the Riding Simulator at New Barn and along with Pam, runs lots of clinics and training courses focusing on rider position as a method of achieving better results with the horse. She was a founder of the Cheshire Horsey Coffee Mornings and has recreated that successful format with New Barn Riders as an evening horsey get together.
In line with her passion for Classical training Lisa has links with the Spanish Riding School of Vienna and their First Chief Rider delivered his first clinic at New Barn in 2013, followed up by a group training visit to Vienna in 2014.
